Fabrizio Bonatesta is a Ph.D. student at the University of North Texas in Dr. Ed Mager’s laboratory. Originally from Brindisi, Italy, Fabrizio moved to the USA to obtain his Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science and Biology at the University of Miami. His research focuses on how environmental abiotic factors, such as dissolved organic carbon, effect crude oil toxicity in early life stage fishes. Additionally, he is studying the toxicity of crude oil to the fish kidney.
